Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What programs do you use, to create your graphics?
A: We each, actually, use different programs. Ame uses PSP, Franzie uses photoshop, and Liz uses GIMP.

Q: How long have you been doing graphics?
A: It varies from person to person, again, but Peppermint Pixels has been in existance since June/August, 2006.

Q: What exactly is this point of Peppermint Pixels?
A: Peppermint Pixels is a showcase for our graphical work, a chance for us to learn teamwork and responsibility, and a fun way of giving back to the community.

Q: Will you make me _______?
A: Depends on what you want made. We're busy people (All of us are in school, and thus have lots of real life responsibilities) and want time to work on our own projects, when we do get time to open up our graphical program of choice. So it's up to the person you want to make whatever it is.

Q: How do I contact you?
A: You can e-mail us at peppixels@gmail.com

Q: If I want to make a graphics site, how should I start?
A: There are so, so, so many things you need to do, but first and foremost: You must love graphics. Don't make a graphics site because you want people to look up to you, know you, or think you're cool. Don't make it because you want people to use your things, even though that is a very rewarding part of it. Make a graphics site because you love graphics, and want a way to share them with your community. Other things you should do are:
1. Get a graphical editing program - you wouldn't believe the number of people who try to make things with paint
2. Find a place to host it. Freewebs is a fairly good host, but I do believe they've now pulled their 'HTML edit' option, which gives you a lot less freedom.
3. Build up your content. Don't make a site with one graphic - you want lots, so that your site looks like you put some effort in.
4. You need basic HTML knowledge, so that your site is user-friendly.
5. And the last thing you need is a total lack of sanity, to take on the responsibilities this ensues - Just Kidding ... I think!

Q: Can my site be sisters/affilitates with Peppermint Pixels?
A: Honestly, we don't like to accept random applications. We'd rather have our sisters/affiliiates be our friends, because that makes for a better site-to-site relationship. Besides, this whole thing is about community, and there's no better way to create community than to be with your friends. So if you want to be sisters/affiliates with Peppermint Pixels - seek us out, make friends with us.
